At TED Ankara College Foundation Private Secondary School, our curriculum is carefully tailored to students' developmental stages, individual differences, interests, and abilities. Our primary goal is to raise students as independent thinkers and global citizens with 21st-century skills, versatile talents, and a sense of responsibility toward both global and national issues.
To achieve this, we foster student-centered, democratic, and modern learning environments. Our lessons are designed to move beyond rote memorization, emphasizing hands-on, experiential learning. We use methods that develop higher-order thinking skills, encouraging students to apply their knowledge and skills in real-life situations. Our school consistently performs well in the LGS exam, following a complete learning model applied at all levels.
Since the 2020-2021 academic year, we have implemented the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP). Our students continue the English education that began in kindergarten, progressing through the TOEFL and AQA exams. Starting from the 5th grade, students also choose to study a second foreign language—German, French, or Spanish—which they pursue through high school. English and second-language education follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), allowing students to earn internationally recognized language diplomas (FIT, DELF, DELE) in grades 6 through 8.
Our students also participate in international programs such as the Canada Nova Scotia Student Exchange, Junior Model United Nations, Eco-Schools, Young Reporters for the Environment, and mathematics competitions like Kangaroo and Caribou, achieving notable success.
