The TED Ankara College Foundation Private Kindergarten's educational program is designed by our educational staff in accordance with the Ministry of National Education’s (MEB) Preschool Education Program. Additionally, it incorporates globally recognized educational approaches such as High Scope, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, GEMS, and STEAM.
Kindergarten education lasts for two years. Students in their first year are part of the A1 group, while those in their second year belong to the A2 group. Each class has two classroom teachers.
The A1 curriculum focuses on helping students adapt to school life efficiently, laying a strong foundation for the A2 year. Our goal in A1 is to consider each student's unique characteristics, supporting their development in all areas. We aim to encourage learning through exploration in a social environment, develop their creative and critical thinking skills, and foster self-confidence in settings where they can freely express themselves. In A2, the focus shifts toward preparing students for primary school, nurturing them into well-rounded individuals who excel in communication, confidence, collaborative learning, creativity, and awareness.
Alongside the core curriculum led by classroom teachers, specialized subjects such as Information Technology, Physical Education, Swimming (for A2), Drama, Children’s Yoga, Visual Arts, English, and Music are taught by branch teachers. While English lessons are integrated into the regular class environment, other branch subjects are taught in designated workshops. Discovery-Science and Children's Literature and Philosophy, designed annually by our educators, are conducted once a week in specialized workshops by classroom teachers.
