English Language Teaching
In the high school, a high level of English language skill is expected. In addition to employing integrated language approach course books, the English department selects literary pieces for analysis and offers instruction in composition, speech, listening and note-taking. Classes may also take advantage of the language laboratories, video rooms, library, and other facilities made available by the school administration. The technology is up-to-date; the materials are advanced, and the teaching staff is qualified and well-informed in recent methodologies.
Critical subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology are taught in English in high school. The subjects which are taught in Turkish include History, Psychology, Philosophy, Geography, and Turkish Language and Literature.
