TED Ankara College aims to educate
its students as competent individuals who have fundamental knowledge
and skills to think creatively and communicate effectively. Thus,
an extensive extra-curricular program is provided for students at
all levels.
Our students find
many opportunities to display their interests and abilities in both
national and international arenas. They also successfully represent
Turkey in organizations such as MEP (Model European Parliament) and
the International Science Olympics every year.

Students from diverse age groups
participate in math competitions arranged by ECIS (European Council
of International Schools). We participate in the Comenius Project
as a coordinating school and also welcome students from different
countries in this aspect.
Our students who participate in
Model UNESCO (MUNESCO, supported by UNESCO), carry on various activities
such as panel discussions, debate and exhibitions. Two other international
projects carried out by our school are the Globe Project, aimed at
raising environmental consciousness, and the Young Reporters for the
Environment Project, arranged by the Foundation for Environmental
Education.
Our students participate
in the National Science Olympics arranged by TUBITAK ( The Scientific&Technological
Research Council of Turkey) and projects prepared in the fields of
science and social issues are exhibited during the science activities
at our school.

In order
to help students develop further interests, various club activities
are offered such as cinema, literature, drama, computer, history,
dance, outdoor sports and economy and students are encouraged to participate
in one of those club activities. Workshops are also organized for
choir, folk music, opera, orchestra, drama, dance, drawing and sculpture.
These activities are prepared by students and presented every year
during our traditional Culture and Art Week.
